Emergency Electrical Service in Beaux Arts Village

Lost power to part of the house, a warm panel or a smell of hot plastic: call during our posted hours and urgent work moves to the front of the queue.

Describe the problem to us — (000) 000-0000

When a Fault Cannot Wait for Next Week

There is a difference between an annoyance and a warning, and electrical faults can be either. A light that will not come on can usually wait. Rooms that suddenly go dark, a humming panel or a faint scorched smell near an outlet should not.

Your safety comes before any call to us. If you see smoke or sparks, or something is too hot to hold a hand near, turn off the main breaker if you can reach it safely, leave the area and call 911. Once that is done, ring us and we will tell you honestly how soon we can come.

During our posted hours, urgent calls are placed ahead of booked visits. On arrival we make the fault safe, find out why it happened and repair it properly.

What Shapes the Price

Urgent repairs are priced as soon as the cause is known, before the fix begins.

What actually failed

A burnt outlet is a small repair; a damaged service conductor is a larger one.

Where it is

A fault in an exposed basement box is reached quickly; one behind a finished wall takes longer.

Parts on hand

Most breakers and devices travel with us, but an unusual panel part may need ordering.

Whether the utility is involved

Problems on the utility's side of the meter are theirs to repair, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Water or storm damage

Circuits affected by a leak or surge must be tested carefully before power returns.

Temporary measures

If a part has to be ordered, any interim fix is explained and priced separately.

Follow-up work

Sometimes an urgent call reveals a wider problem, which we quote separately rather than add on the spot.

Good to Know Before You Call

  1. Safety first, always

Smoke, sparks or real heat mean switching off the main breaker and dialing 911 before you ring us.

  2. Note what happened

What you saw, heard or smelled, and what was running, helps us arrive prepared.

  3. Check the obvious

A tripped GFCI outlet in a bathroom or garage can switch off more than you might expect.

What Happens on an Urgent Call

  1. Your call

A few questions from us, and advice on whether anything should be switched off until we get there.

  2. Priority scheduling

Within posted hours your call jumps the queue, and we give you an arrival time we can keep.

  3. Make safe, then mend

We isolate the problem, find its cause, price the repair and carry it out.

Something Not Right at the Moment?

Heat, smoke or sparks: power off and 911 first. For everything else, ring during posted hours and we will bring your visit forward.
