Lighting Installation in Beaux Arts Village
Recessed, pendant, under-cabinet and garden lighting planned around how you use each room, then installed cleanly and switched where it makes sense.
Talk through your lighting — (000) 000-0000›Rooms That Feel Right After Dark
Good lighting changes how a room feels far more than most furniture does. A kitchen that is bright where you chop and soft where you eat, a living room with a lamp-like glow on a dimmer, a path to the front door you can see on a winter evening: these are small changes that make a home pleasanter every single day.
We plan lighting with you before we price it, thinking about where you sit, work and walk. Then we install it with care, using slim LED fixtures that fit through small openings, dimmers matched to the lamps, and switches placed by the doors you use.
Often the answer is fewer fixtures in better places, and we will happily say so.
What Shapes the Price
Lighting projects range from a single pendant to a whole floor; these are the variables.
Number of fixtures
- Each downlight or pendant is priced individually, so you can scale the plan up or down.
Ceiling access
- An open attic above makes recessed lighting quick; a second-floor ceiling below a bedroom takes more care.
New switching
- Adding a three-way switch or a new dimmer location involves extra cable.
Heavy fixtures
- Chandeliers and large pendants may need extra bracing in the ceiling.
Exterior work
- Path and security lighting needs weather-rated fittings and sometimes buried cable.
Controls
- Smart switches and dimmers cost more than standard ones but are often worth it.
Whether a circuit is needed
- Most lighting runs on existing circuits; a large scheme may need one more.
Good to Know Before We Visit
Think about each room's purpose
Cooking, reading and relaxing each call for different light.
Collect a few pictures
Images of fixtures or rooms you like help us understand the look you want.
Mention dimming
If you want everything dimmable, we will choose compatible fixtures from the start. Mixing fixtures and dimmers that were never meant to work together is the usual cause of flicker and hum.
How a Lighting Project Runs
A planning visit
We walk the rooms with you and mark positions; the written quote follows within a day or two.
Installation
Most rooms are finished within a day, with floors covered and dust kept down.
Fine-tuning
Dimmers are set, adjustable heads angled where you want them, and the switches explained before we pack up.
